SPIRITUAL TEACHINGS
The Offering

Every act can be an offering to the higher. Each thought and movement can be filled with loving energy—as the supremacy of the ego melts.

Whatever you do or eat or give, whatever sacrifices you make—offer them all to Me, O Arjuna. 9:27 (Bhagavad Gita)

The Eternal

The eternal lives within each and every one of us. To uncover it and discover it depends on whether our real yearning is directed to its rightful place. The sacred serpent energy kundalini can lead us upward to the expansive freedom of wholeness or downward to the divisive bondage of attachment. May our deepest inner yearning ever harmonize our animal instincts and our societal conditioning, and lead us to Knowledge!

Know that Atman by which this whole universe is pervaded. No one can cause the destruction of the indestructible, the imperishable Self. 2:17

May we always remember our highest ideal. May we ever strive to live it—until the eternal moment when striving is no longer necessary.

The bodies of the embodied Self come to an end, it is said. But the Self is indestructible, unfathomable. Therefore, O Arjuna, carry on your fight. 2:18

Throughout the simple happenings of daily life, we can maintain a link with a more inclusive reality—more expansive than the mundane limits our mind imposes on things. By continuing our work in the world with a deeper view, conditions are created for truth to embrace our heart and oversee the unfoldment of our lives.

When one sees eternity in things that pass away and infinity in finite things, then one has pure knowledge. 18:20
